    Do you lift? Probably gaining muscle weight.

    when we work out, we gain muscle mass, and muscles will get heavier as the result. This may be the reason for your weight gain

    You're most likely not gaining fat. Muscle tends to way more, so your weight on a scale would increase.

    Muscle weight more than fat, so you now have more muscle than you had 2 ears ago when you started working out.
