    It is unethical. One day or other you will realize that you made a big mistake when that someone's naiveness and innocence become a problem to you.

    It could be considered unethical yes....but it is also paving the way for some really bad karma for the person who wants them to stay "naive and innocent".....it is wrong to interfere and control another person's future.
