One angle of a triangle measures 120°. The other two angles are in a ratio of 5:7. What are the measures of those two angles?

    The bigger angle=(180*-120*)*7/(5+7)=60(7/12)=35* The smaller angle=60(5/12)=25*

    The other two angles' sum is 60° x/(x+y) = 5/12 x/60 = 5/12 12x = 300 x = 25° y= 60-25 = 35°

    5x + 7x = 180 - 120 12x = 60 x = 5 one angle's measure is 5(5) = 25 deg the other's is 7(5) = 35 deg
