It’s not supposed to be painful because people that died from CO poisoning go to sleep without waking up. If it’s painful don’t you think they would have waken up.

It's not supposed to be painful. It should feel more like passing out from exhaustion if you've ever played a sport or ran a marathon and had that happen. Light headedness and things would be the worst part not actual pain per se
