How to tell my mum I got my period?

So I’ve had my period for 2 days now. I have a stash of pads I’ve had for years so I’m not worried about running out but I hate awkward conversations with my mum so how do I tell her without it being super awkward?

your mom had her's when she was your age . so it shouldn't be hard to just tell her..you'll feel better & so will she i mean i had no mom to tell back when i got mine at age 14,

Trust me, your mom will not got on you or do anything rash. She probably will be understanding and supportive of you.

Please tell her, for heaven's sake. She is your mother, a WOMAN, was a GIRL just like YOU and had/has her period too. Nothing awkward about it!

Mom, I got my period. Simple, efficient, literally the least awkward way to go about it.

Think of it like this. If you were a mother, how would you want your daughter to approach you about the subject? Whatever that is, do that yourself with your mom.

Give her a note,text her, but you should be able to tell your mum anything.
