My chickens were attacked by neighbors dog my dog has never messed with them and they are scared of her now. How can I get them to trust her?

    Well that is their survival instinct, which is good so if a strange dog comes by and might have killing chickens on its mind the birds will high tail it! I would just leave it be. See if they calm down on their own. Good Luck!

    You're not protecting your chickens. Build them a pen and coop for safety from wild and domestic predators.

    They won't. A good fence helps with unruly dogs.

    Chickens have brains the size of peas - and that's flattering them. You can't. How did a neighbors' dog attack your chickens? Aren't they fenced?
