Could the Kilauea volcano erupt with enough force to affect the earth's orbit, like a giant jet engine?

No, material would have to be shot of the earth into space in order to affect earths orbit. Escape velocity is 25000 mi/hr. The volcano isn't powerful enough to shoot material anywhere near that speed.

Our atmosphere is a mere FILM on the surface of our planet. You realize that the earth is SMOOTHER than a CUE BALL if the two were the SAME SIZE. The earth and its overall mass is HUGE compared to ANY volcano.
