Is it bad to cut the top of your arm?

This is for a health protect at school, don't worry I'm not cutting. If I were to cut the top of my arm, would that be dangerous? Like instead of the wrist, you cut the top of your arm. How bad is it? Are there any major veins/ arteries on the top?

Health project. The wrist has a major artery running through it. The top of the arm has veins. Find a chart with the veinous system in it.

The outside top would be muscle, if you got the ball and socket joint that would probably be the worst injury or dislocation. I mean there would be veins and tendons, but not easy to cut.
