When a fair coin is flipped 100 times, will we always get close to 50 heads or tails? It's always possible that we get 100 heads/tails right?

Possible but highly unlikely.

It's possible to get either, but it's more likely to be closer to 50 heads.

Before you start there is a finite possibility of 100 identical flips (2^-99 = 0.0000000000000000000000000000016) However, the moment one flip is different to the previous one, there is no chance.
