Why do people always complain about it being hot when I'm cold?

It seems like nowadays every time I'm cold and shivering someone will go "it sure is hot in here, can we turn the heat down/AC up?" Note: when I am feeling normal or warm, no one complains about it being hot. Just when I'm cold.

People have different tolerances for heat and cold. Your tolerance is lower than most people.
