Not worthless but will date quickly. You are better off getting a Computer Science BSc. That teaches you theory. CIS just teaches you how to use applications.

Worthless - no. But probably not as good as a Computer Science degree. I do have a comp sci degree. And I work as a mainframe pgmr/analyst.

If you consider a $55,000 salary worthless, I guess so. That's the average salary for new graduates.
