it's actually cirrhosis of the liver and yes you are as i know as i have it

Cirrhosis. No, it's not painful. It can cause jaundice (yellowing of the skin), fatigue, weakness, loss of appetite, etc. But cirrhosis can sometimes cause peritonitis, which would be painful.
