What is the highest math needed for psych majors?

Would I be better off taking pre-calc or advanced statistics? I'm a psych major and am planning out my course schedule for the fall.

Look up the Gen Ed requirements for your school. At my school for non-STEM majors the requirement is 6 hrs of 100+ level math, pick whatever courses you'd like.

If you plan to practice psychology, you will need AT LEAST a masters degree, and a PhD is preferable. If you go to graduate school, you will be expected to conduct research, and you will NEED the statistics much more than pre-calc.
