The wolf would never fight a gorilla.

Gorilla definitely. Wolves hunt in packs so a single wolf would be much weaker.

Even a chimpanzee would be able to take down a single wolf, let alone a gorilla. A wolf gets its power from its pack though.

Gorilla. It's not a fair fight even in the slightest. Besides, wolves are pack hunters. A pack of wolves might take down a gorilla. I sort of doubt it though. The silverback is just too brutish and powerful.
