The new moon phases occurs every lunar cycle. So no, its not possible for the moon to not be between the Earth and the sun. I am curious what an "eclipse season" is - no such term in astronomy.

No. There is no such thing as an eclipse season.

If it is a Lunar eclipse then it will be a full Moon. Eclipses are not seasonal.

No. As others say, "eclipse season" doesn't mean anything. There is a New Moon once a month, whether or not there is an eclipse. During a solar eclipse there is a New Moon by definition, just as there must be a Full Moon during a lunar eclipse. . .
