Which animals probably came first, the flying or the walking? why?

walking b/c animals that swam came first, and they evolved slowly into amphibians/ reptiles. and somehow those evolved into birds

Swimming -- then (probably) short distance flying fish, then walkers (and, as it turns out, some walkers returned to the sea and became swimmers again.)
