How did you personally lose weight?

A question to all those using Yahoo and have lost weight some how. How did you personally do it?

I would eat 1500-1800 calories (i alternated each day and sometimes i would eat more than 1800) and would either do dance, yoga, and stretching. However, I recently have been eating more and exercising less and am back to my weight before dieting.

Cut out all sugar. Chocolate, juice, ready meals, sugar in tea etc. Grilled everything. Cooked meat from raw. Never ate leftovers (non fresh food is fattening).
