People have been licking the spoon that had raw cookie batter on it for more years than i can talk about, and nobody ever got salmonella from doing so.

Did you also eat the entire batch of cookies? That would explain the nausea and gas.

Highly doubtful, while not a good practice of eating raw eggs the handling of them is so much safer now than in days past. On the other hand, eating sugar etc. without something substantial in your belly could cause and upset feeling.
