Egalitarianism has been around much longer than feminism Yet today most people equate feminism with the equality of both genders (which is a myth) And it seems a lot of millenials have never even heard of egalitarianiism

Pre-internet times, I doubt anyone had heard of, or met, an egalitarian. And feminists don’t call themselves egalitarians, as far as I know. So I think the answer’s no.
