I would reach my arm out, and it would like like I'm reaching into thin air while less and less of my arm becomes visible...but actually I'm reaching into another dimension, or realm.

It would be very inconvenient if your arm got "out of synch" with your brain! So I am glad we seem to be confined to travel the time dimension with all body parts at the same coordinate.
