Well, if you think it would go terribly breaking up in person, then over the phone is the next best thing. I wouldn't break up through text or email though. Good luck with all that, too!

The mature thing to do would be to break up with her in person "BUT" the big question is will she accept the breakup and peacefully move on or will she get angry, overreact and lie and say you touch her, call the cops and lie to them.

do it in person. let her make a scene and just walk away after the break up. don't discuss it with her. after, no contact at all
