Search the New York Times on the Web from about 10 years ago (give or take) for "Sherpa" and "lung capacity." Sherpas have evolved to be able to breath better in high altitude situations. That's relatively recent in evolutionary terms.

Yes Take something like addiction to alcohol or an immunity to certain diseases. There are hundreds of such evolutionary changes which can be found in the Colombian divide.
