Can surgery be performed on someone who is underweight as 15 bmi or will the doctor completely refuse to do it? this is for the nose?

A doctor may refuse any procedure if they think it is not in the best interest of the patient.

They won't operate on very thin or very fat people because you have to be strong to withstand anaesthetic.

With a BMI Index of only 15, you have absolutely NO reserves to fall back on...IF something goes wrong. Doctors have learned that those who are too heavy are poor health risks, as are those who are borderline too skinny.
