There’s two ways to look at this... either *everywhere* is the center of the universe, or *nowhere* is the center of the universe. In the first case, yup - we’re in the center. In the other case, we’re as much in the center as anywhere else.

The universe may not be a closed Euclidean space, so it may not have a center. If it does have a center, our galaxy might be near the center (by accident!) or not near the center.

not at all. Not even the center of the Local Group of three dozen or so galaxies. Less than 300 billion stars makes it a bit larger than average but far from largest. The really big ones run around a trillion stars. There is no center of the universe
