I have an impacted lower left wisdom tooth can I numb it before they take it out because I do not like being put under

Yes they can numb it and even give you laughing gas which will relax you but not put you under. I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed 3 weeks ago with laughing gas and local anesthesia.

For impacted wisdom teeth you need to be put under local anesthetic. This also depends on how badly impacted it is. Talk with your dentist or oral surgeon about it. They will tell you what options you have.

Of course you can! Here in Finland local anesthesia only with wisdom tooth surgery is always the norm!

They can. It's old school. It will take quite a bit of numbing...but it can be done. Good luck.

i would let them numb it, they would know more of how to do it than you would

You cannot numb it but your dentist may find numbing it acceptable.
