The airplanes in flight just follow the curvature of the earth in constant gravity power motion.

Aircraft are constantly making many course corrections for altitude, and wind, when maintaining an altitude, they do follow the curvature of Earth. Maybe do some research before embarrassing yourself next time.

compensate what?

Airplanes actually DO compensate for the curvature. A 40 meter airliner "dips" the nose about 6 mm. They do this with a "trim tab" which is adjusted to keep the plane at constant height above level ground.

By maintaining their altitude they're automatically compensating for the curvature. If they were to fly off into space they would be constantly increasing their altitude.
