Rather than the old methods of corpse disposal...burial or burning...can a corpse be lasered to nothingness?

In theory yes but it would take a bit of time to incinerate every last bit of flesh and bone. Even then the metals like calcium will be a big problem.

laser is just a way of increasing the temperature of the object. So you are burning the corpse, no difference, just a lot more expensive.

Burning a body with a laser would still be cremation or burning. There are probably laws about the method of cremation. Another method would be solar collector incineration but religion and laws may get in the way.

No. That's a Hollywood fabrication. Humans can be reduced to carbon - ashes. If that is too bulky for you, scatter them in the wind.
