Why do women only show interest in men they don’t know personally when at bars or clubs or when intoxicated?

It seems like women only show interest in either men they know through mutual friends or in a class or if they are intoxicsted at a bar or club. That’s it. Whereas men show interest in women everywhere. Why?

Alcohol lowers inhibition and impedes judgement. Testosterone increases sex drive.
