Feeling like the king of the world on SSRI antidepressants?

I can’t sleep and I haven’t actually slept properly in days but I don’t feel tired and I think they are working because I feel really happy but isn’t it supposed to take 3 weeks until they work? (Atleast?)

Everybody reacts to SSRI's differently. Apparently, they work very well for you. If you don't settle down in another week or two, go to your doctor and have your prescription reduced.

I've tried two different kinds and they make me so tired I can't function. They say it takes a few weeks to notice and then up to 4-6 months for the full effect. Would you mind indicating what you were prescribed cos I could do with trying those ones.
