Could we have a link, please? otherwise I'm calling BS. Although women probably do cheat more than 60 years ago when more was at stake for them like social ostracisation, I certainly see no evidence of them outstripping men in that department.

Could be many reasons. One factor could be that women have more opportunities to cheat, as more people are interested in having sex with them even if the women are already in a relationship.
