Should I get tested for Lyme?
4 answers
I live in Massachusetts where ticks are crazy. I didnt see any ticks on me but I'm st work and my knees are randomly aching pretty bad on and off. My knees never hurt and I'm not a runner.

Almost everybody on earth do have lyme disease - even, they show no typical symptoms. Idiotic doctors usually REFUSE to make a test. You should demand on a test. Your knee does not need to be in connection with lyme.

That's pointless. You don't have symptoms of Lyme disease and there are at least a dozen other conditions which could account for your knee pain.

Sure, get tested if you wish, the test isn't all that reliable but it has improved over the past decade.

If you're worried about it, sure, get tested, though there are usually other symptoms. Any time you're dealing with a potential medical issue, you should seek professional advice. This really isn't the place to ask anything relevant to your health.
