I am 19, female, 5’6 My weight fluctuates between 123-125 pounds. I am gaining a lot of weight and not sure why. I eat around 2,500 calories a day or less. My usual weight used to be around 117. What do you think?

That is a perfect weight, you were on the lower end of normal before. As an adult you will fill out slightly; you can't expect to be the weight you were as a kid

Your ideal weight is between 125 and 135,so you’re at a good weight. When you’re in that range, cut back to 2,000 calories a day.

Yes. That is still a healthy BMI and you’re not close to being overweight. Try to do more physical activity and eat 2,000 a day. You eating 2,500 is a good reason for weight gain. Not that you NEED to lose any weight, but it seems that is what you want.
