I've been having anxiety attacks lately because of work and the people around me. I need to consult a doctor but I don't know what type of doctor specializes in anxiety? Can anyone help me?

There is also alternative medicine. Certain teas and herbs do help. Do some searches. Herbs like Kava Kava, Valerian Root, Camomile, and others can help. Ask a doctor and/or your favorite health food store. Do some online research.

I can help. Got to a psychiatrist. They specialize in mental health issues also find a therapist that specializes in anxiety. I REALLY hope that helps you out. If helped you please vote me for best answer HUGZ Raymond

That's called a therapist, psychiatrist or psychologist. The middle one can prescribe meds. What books have you read about it? Have you read articles about it? what have you tried to relieve the anxiety symptoms yourself?
