It's an allergic reaction to the apple or something on the apple. One of my daughter's has itching in mouth and throat when eating an apple so she doesn't eat apples anymore.

1. You might be allergic. 2. More likely it is not clean, and you are getting a reaction to something coating it.. A herbicide or pesticide. Also, some marketers apply waxes to make apples look better and appear fresher.
