I just got a script for Xanax like two weeks ago and my back started killing me four days ago, it’s much worse today. I take a single .5 a day so it’s not much, but it literally feels like I have a kidney stone.

You may have a kidney stone- you might have any number of things that cause back pain, but it's doubtful that the Xanax is the cause. You should seek medical attention for the back pain, but it's unlikely that Xanax is causing it.

you need to talk to your doctor about it, maybe he can switch your meds

your liver metabolizes EVERYTHING you eat or drink.. You may have a kidney stone but they don't form over night. go see your doctor.
