Wouldn't be a sandwich, then.

Yes, as long as the contents are wrapped in some other food item. A lettuce wrap could be considered a sandwich.

Some people use lettuce leaves as a wrap around. Me personally I put everything on a salad and just incorporate it into that. Julienne cut the meat into strips.

One of my favorite snacks is a naked BLT... Basically maple bacon with a thick slice of tomato eaten between two slices of lettuce. I like to substitute out bread wherever possible since it's a processed mess of carbs and sugar..

Yes. Just replace bread and use chapatti or chesse slice.

Well, yes and no. You can eat JUST ham & a slice of cheese, BUT for it to be called a 'sandwich', it HAS to have bread ......That has been that way since the Earl of Sandwich invented them.

Sure, put all your cheese, lettuce, pickle and other condiments inside slices of meat. Roll the meat slices up like a burrito and enjoy.
