    18=9*2=3*3*2=3*sqrt2 24=12*2=6*2*2=2*sqrt6

    sqrt(18) = sqr(3 x 3 x 2) = sqrt(3 X sqrt(3) x sqrt(2) NB sqrt(3) x sqrt(3) = 3 Hence 3sqrt(2) Similarly sqrt(24) = sqrt(2 x 2 x 2 x 3 ) = sqrt(2) x sqrt(2) x sqrt(2) x sqrt(3) = 2 x sqrt(2) x sqrt(3) = 2sqrt(2 x 3) = 2sqrt(6)

    1). √18 = √9√2 = 3√2 2. √24 √4√6 = 2√6

    √ 18 = √ [ 9 x 2 ] = 3 √ 2 √ 24 = √ [ 4 x 6 ] = 2 √ 6

    factorize the number into its primes. 18=2*3*3. square root of that is sqrt(3*3)*sqrt(2). sqrt of 3*3 is 3. so sqrt(18)=3sqrt(2). same idea with 24. 24=2*2*2*3; sqrt(24)=sqrt(2*2)*sqrt(2*3)=2*sqrt(6).
