    A bit of both, most likely. Some students get 'full ride' scholarships, others can afford to go without financial help, but you have to be pretty smart just to be able to into those places.

    Does it really matter? "Educated" is as far and away from actual intelligence as one can measure. In other words: One can be educated however, that does not mean they are intelligent. Have a nice day.

    The professors are smart, the students aren't until they get to put to use the shyster scams it all is. They have to build up a backbone for unrealistically charging people for such trash and all.

    Usually both, with two exceptions. Legacy admissions need not be smart and students on scholarship need not be rich.

    actually tennessee technological university has a higher student SAT/ACT average and a higher graduate salary than Vanderbilt does
