Why cant we plant trees on the north side and south side of mars the polar caps of mars Plants can obsorb carbon dioxide what about that?

It's too cold for a tree to survive.

If an aria with tolerable temperatures could be found then watering them could be solved . I would think a type of plant life more suitable to the task than trees could be found in some of the less hospitable zones on earth .

Far too cold. In winter, near the poles temperatures can get down to minus 195 degrees F.
