Outside my house theres thunder but theres no sound.I seen a bolt in the sky but no rain.(Dont know if the bolt hit the ground) Explanation?

Thunder IS sound. If lightning is too far away or if there is enough interference, you won't hear the thunder. If you DO hear thunder at all OR see lightning during the day, you are close enough to be struck. So head indoors!

ive seen thunder like that too, sometimes it just comes out like that, ive also seen a lot of hail last wk and by the time it got done it looked like it was the middle of winter and there was hail all over the place and it looked like it just snowed

Lightning is the light you see as plasma is generated by the electrical current. Thunder is the sound you hear as the air around the current is heated and rapidly expands. If the lightning strike is far away enough, you won't hear the thunder.

Heat lightening does produce the same set of phenomena. Why? I don't know the scientific explanation but I have seen it many times.
