    Well, I'd had this %@#(% 'W' sitting on my desk for YEARS, and wanted to get rid of it - It was boring. So this NEW WORD came thru looking for my approval, and, well, you can guess the rest ..........................

    My dictionary says it comes from old english "answaru." I don't know how that was pronounced but it seems like the "w" would be voiced.

    Why is there a W in "sword" "two" or "who"? My theory is since W was the worst president in history, until recently, they threw a few extra Ws into the language to make him feel better.
