When my boyfriend has sleep paralysis and talks in his "sleep" (he's more asleep than awake) he says things kind of like on loop like he will keep asking me if he woke me up or something even if i just told him he didn't 5 times in a row, is this normal??

Talking in your sleep and sleep paralysis are different conditions.

That is NOT sleep paralysis. During sleep paralysis you are unable to move nor speak out loud.
