Whenever you are intending to quit your job, the "notice period" for almost every place of employment is 2 weeks prior to your last day at work.

You can always ask your boss. Usually 2-3 weeks notice is good enough, also give them a resignation letter when you're getting close to the 2-3 weeks notice.

If there's a contract in play, ask your manager or HR person for a copy. Failing that, two weeks notice is pretty standard. If you can give 3 or more weeks, that's a nice thing to do.
