Is it bad that I’m taking 5 alprazolams (anxiety pills a different type of Xanax) a day. The pills are only .5 mg?

Alprazolam isn't a "different type" of Xanax. Alprazolam is the active ingredient. Xanax is the brand name. It's bad if they're not prescribed to you.

To get high??! Yes it's bad,. You have to try and cut down

If you are prescribed the medication in that dosage and it is helping, it is not bad. If you are taking them for fun or just because, then yes its bad.
