OLD PEOPLE, like me, have you noticed that our youths can not answer a question regarding which direction North, East, West or South is?

Asking which side of the freeway is your business on, North or South, they say it depends which way you’re coming from. Another said she was new to the area. Guess she hasn’t located the sun yet.

Indeed before I was 4 years old, around 1950, I was much more sure about North, South, East, and West than I was about left and right.

No I haven't noticed that. I find that ignorance abounds pretty well anywhere among any people, so you can justify a false conclusion for a group based on interactions with individuals, if you choose. It does not make it a valid inference though.

i've stumped people of all ages when asking about directions, including a lady in her late 80s.

Doesn’t mean who you are talking to at the store is young. My mother could t tell you directions, but my son could of at age 10
