    It's hard to say since girls pick up the idea that they're not supposed to be interested in STEM fields starting when they're very young.

    My daughter is a meteorologist and her husband (to be) is an environmental scientist. From my point of view, both sexes are active

    I don’t know if they’re more inclined but more like women are discouraged from getting a STEM degree and working in the STEM field. So it may seem like most males are in the field but it could be the same if women are encouraged.
