What's it like getting your wisdom teeth removed?

I was recommended by my dental hygienist to get them removed, he said the sooner the better. Just wanted to know what to expect?

You will feel sleepy after the surgery. When I got my wisdom teeth out I got general anesthesia.

Unless you are in pain do NOT have them removed. We don't do that in the UK. American Dentists do it for the money. Mine came out in my 40s. UK

You're generally put out during that procedure

You fall asleep with them in, then wake up and they’re out. I slept for like a day, then I just kinda took it easy for a couple days. Ate soft foods the day after.
