I did mines with just nitrous oxide and whatever local.mine were also full bony impacted and the gas made me relaxed

It is a SURGERY and sometimes the tooth or teeth are impacted, meaning they are still mostly in the bone

Because you don’t want to see what happens during the surgery you want to fall asleep.

Because many of us don't want to hear what is going on and don't want to feel all the tugging and grinding. It is unnerving.
