I do not make such a claim. I say humans and apes have common ancestors. It is more humiliating to say I was made from dirt or rib. It is quite humiliating and degrading to believe in such extremely bad fiction of the Bible and its barbaric deity.

Humans are members of the great apes family... that's just a fact. So of course, it isn't degrading. And honestly, I don't see how you can think being made of dirt is somehow any better.
