Can a sleeping bag have bad karma?

I bought a second-hand sleeping bag at a thrift shop. It is clean and I have washed it. Every night since I use it I wake up about 4 am with night sweats. The weight of the insulation does not seem to be the problem. What is at play here?

It's most likely just a bad sleeping bag, or possibly a personal health condition

It's 100 % more likely that it is simply too warm for you, and the heat makes you wake up.
